Hello, I'm Daniel!

Plaid Cymru Candidate for Newport East

My Statement

This is the first time that 16- and 17-year-olds can vote in our Senedd elections

and rightly so as it your future.

If elected on 6 of May I will work with the Youth Parliament so that young people’s voices are heard.

Plaid Cymru have a goal that all 16- to 24-year-olds have free transport. I have been working with the party to ensure that this happens. If we want a green Wales then we need to find ways of making it possible and this I believe is a start.

I am against the M4 relief road with the costs of billions of pounds for a 6 mile stretch of road, plus the environmental impact it will have for generations is not something I could ever recommend.

Our young people need better care when it comes to mental health issues. With this pandemic young people have been hit hard not just with education but mental health. If elected I will demand better support for young people.

I will always stand up for the rights of young people and have their views heard. It’s your future, not ours.
